I'm so happy to be home! I've missed my family so much. Mum has already made plans while I'm here. The college is doing their last production of A Winter's Tale tonight and I'm so excited to see it! Even if I've seen it once already, but not at the college so I'd like to see the difference between the two.
I get to help dad at the shop while I'm here too. Which is always fun because it'll give me a chance to look for music. I would like to learn a couple of new songs over break.
Christmas is coming soon! Hope everyone has been good this year!

I really just love December! It's close to Christmas! Mum and Dad are already asking me what I want, I told them a telescope. I have a few magazines on Astronomy and they have a few very nice telescopes for sale. I circled a couple that shouldn't be too hard for them to get. I really hope I get one! I know they'll give me loads of books on stars and planets, that's always fun.
A ball! I don't know why people don't like balls. Music, beautiful decorations, dancing! I just hope you ladies know that you DON'T have to have a date to have fun. Get over it, life is not about boys. I went to the last ball by myself and I had a blast! Why not get a group of friends together? That's just me though. I can always find a way to have fun.
Well, those of you that are worried about getting dates, I wish you luck.

Okay, I want to know the truth! My fellow 5th year Ancient Runes mates..how am I doing with the whole teaching thing? Personally I think I'm brilliant!
Don't lie, I know you all liked my little song I made up to remember some of the translations, right?
So, I have some excellent news. I have succeeded with making a Patronus! Just in case you lot are wondering, it's a Panther. Only the most beautiful and terrifying cat out in the jungle.
Quidditch practice is rough as always. Arm is a little sore but nothing bad. I'm looking forward to our match! Well, I must be off now. I really want to check to see if I have any chocoballs left, I'm starving and now, I can't wait for dinner.

Woah. Those Slytherin Beaters really know how to..smack a bludger around. I'm looking forward to when we play Ravenclaw!
So personally, I think the ball was brilliant! I had a few compliments on my costume, which is always nice. I would just like to inform those who were so worried about getting a date, I didn't have a date and I danced all night long and I had loads of fun!
To those that were injured, I'm offering myself up for anyone that needs to be entertained. I know how boring it can get in the Hospital Wing. I'll have to warn you though, I'm excellent at playing Speed and Egyptian Ratscrew, if anyone of you lot know how to play those games. I have some muggle board games I brought with me too and I don't mind teaching someone how to play. When I saw some..I mean..loads. You name a game and I probably have it.

Everyone keeps talking about getting dates. I have to admit..this is different from just a typical Hogsmeade trip, it would be nice to go with someone. I wouldn't know who to ask, I don't exactly have any crushes. I mean there are a lot of good looking blokes and I suppose there are a few who I would like to go with but I don't think they'd be interested in me.
It's okay though. I can have fun by myself.

Fantastic, a ball. I think it'll be fun. Doesn't give me much time to figure out a costume though. Shouldn't take me long to come up with a list of ideas though. Of course, this means that I get change my hair again. Well depending on what my costume is.
So I did eventually find my music journal. I did accidentally leave it in the Library. I remembered to finally write my name in it this time, that way if I lose it again, the person who finds it can return it to me that way I'm not looking all over the castle for it. Though I haven't worked on my song, I've been enjoying using the picks that I got for my birthday, thanks again Braden. But I've just been working on songs from some of my different bands.
Well, I think it's time for homework. Maybe a walk afterwards.

It's my BIRTHDAY!
Happy birthday to me!
My mom gave me the greatest gift. It's a heart shaped locket and it as a picture of my parents on their wedding day. It's so beautiful. I haven't taken it off yet.
So far today has been great. Hogsmeade was fun, bought everything that I needed.

Merlin, now I'm not the only one with colour in their hair.
Does this mean I'm a trendsetter? I have to admit, some of those colours look way better than my pink and blue highlights. I'm slightly jealous.
I saw someone that reminded me of Bozo..didn't want to say anything. They didn't look too friendly.

I hear when they first invented the chocolate frog, people used to have contests to see which frog had the first highest jump. I think that sounds interesting, anyone want to try it?

Now I'm almost positive my parents are getting me an owl. I know she enjoys seeing the ones that belong to the schools, she thinks they're pretty brilliant.
There's so much talk about Hogsmeade and getting dates. You know girls, asking for dates like that make you sound a little desperate. I'm already making a list of things I need to get.
I do believe a walk around the grounds is called for. I need some fresh again.

So, I have a bunny with me. He's all white except for his paws and tail, which are either brown or black. Looks like a dark brown to me. If anyone wants to come claim him, I'll keep him here for a little bit if not, I'll just take him back to the Transfiguration class.
Although, I kinda want to keep him as a pet. Though, I don't think mum and dad would like that. They said they're waiting for my birthday before they get me anything. I guess it wouldn't hurt to be a little more patient.
By the way, did I mention my birthday is on the 8th?! Presents are a must.
I wonder what they'll get me. I'd love an owl but I can't really cuddle with an owl. Maybe a cat?

I'm of course am ready for a Hogsmeade trip. Though it's still too far away, so I won't spend this whole time dwelling on it. I am running low on supplies, so this trip is much needed.
Another happy birthday to my roommate!
Has anyone seen my music journal? I think that I might have left it in the library, but I figured I would ask if anyone has seen it there or around the common room. I'd hate to walk to the library and find that it's not there. I try to avoid that place if possible.
If someone does have it, please if you have read it don't say so. I won't pretend I'm an excellent music writer. If anyone were to comment on it, good or bad, I'll be very embarrassed. Right, so if anyone does have it, please send it back as soon as possible. Thank you.
